Dementia happens...
We find the person within.
We care.

An Ideal Home
should be:

* Small and friendly
* Family-owned and family-run
* Managed by experts
* Skilled in Dementia Care
* Good communication
* As comfortable as your own home
* Loving care
* A home from home

St Cecilia has specialised in the care of residents with dementia from Poole and Bournemouth since 1988.
It is a family-run home which welcomes both private and local authority- funded residents.
St Cecilia is a detached Edwardian Family House in peaceful, tree-lined residential setting, just a few minutes walk from Westbourne, convenient for Poole and Bournemouth.
Our objective is to provide a comfortable, healthy and stimulating home environment, for a small group of elderly people who are, for various reasons, unable to maintain themselves independently in their own homes.
We are committed to the highest standards in quality-controlled residential care, where the interests of the residents are paramount.

Robert Eshelby
Proprietor since 1988

30th Anniversary Garden Party!

We had a lovely sunny day for our party to celebrate 30 years of pioneering dementia care.  Residents, families, carers and friends all had a very jolly afternoon with delicious sandwiches and cakes, serenaded by the Christchurch and Highcliffe Brass Band.
